what is the best way to install plate rail over kitchen cabinets?

i have the rail but would like to know the best way to fasten it to the false front without the brackets showing. it runs about 25 feet around that side of the kitchen and therefore needs to be cut which is no problem. the rail we purchased has no direction for installation and i would like it to look as professional as possible when i am done.

Are you sure it is called “plate rail” ? Could it be Gallery Rail? (See Link below for Reference)
If it is Gallery Rail, then it is usually nailed to the cabinet with small finish nails.
